The National Stock Exchange of India Limited, through Circular No. 65/2026 dated October 22, 2026, has announced a mock trading session in the Commodity Derivatives segment on Saturday, October 24, 2026. No new version release is planned for this session.
The mock trading will be conducted in two sessions: Session 1 from the Primary Site, with normal market trading from 11:00 to 12:30, and Session 2 from the Disaster Recovery (DR) Site, with normal market trading from 13:15 to 14:30. The cut-off for position limit and collateral value setup, as well as trade modifications, is 14:40. Live re-login will be available from 16:00 to 16:30. Members using NNF must note that the existing encryption mechanism using old interactive port 10865 will be discontinued from December 7, 2026. They are advised to migrate to either the new encryption mechanism with MD5 checksum removal using port 10869 or the new encryption mechanism with immediate acknowledgement of order-related messages using port 10871. The gateway router IP is 172.19.15.85, the subnet is 172.19.15.0, the network mask is 255.255.255.128, and the existing port listed is 10850.
Members should follow the instructions for the mock trading session, the prerequisites and general participation guidelines, and the guidelines for switching the trading system to the DR Site, as specified in the circular’s annexures.
